Can I get my spirit back?

I would like to open the table for discussion. My sexual abuse began at age 6 months. Did not end until I left home at age 17. Can I get my spirit back? Up until now it has been about surviving. Now I'm interested in thriving. I am a spirit and love filled person. I give and receive love readily. But when one is so horribly wounded, it feels like it kills the spirit. I try to sit by the ocean and let the waves cleanse my soul. The seagulls sing to me. Will I ever have the spirit that I was born with? Being devastated and left for dead was hard on my spirit. And living in an unsafe environment for so many years. Comments?

I got my spirit back!
I got my spirit back, by loving, working, playing, enjoying, eating, praying, creating, giving, laughing hard. I am a child of God. Mother Mary comforts me. My NEW company motto (Oh yeah, I started a new company on the fly) is ARE YOU IN? RUN
Mission Statement
The mission statement of my company is to empower women and children of the earth. And I am literally doing it now, in big ways.

We are surviving P.O.W.s. We all know, we can be bound physically, but never spiritually. By the grace of God, our spirit is resilient!
